The future of the East Van Cross is in limbo. Last week, a recent new building development has been approved unanimously that is to be built right in front of the iconic East Van cross.
There is more info here and the decision has not been updated as of this posting. During the process there has been some talk of relocation of the iconic art piece but nothing is confirmed and further discussion is necessary. I’m keeping my on further developments regarding the “new location”.
